We haven’t tested this variant of the RTX 5090, but we have put the MSI RTX 5090 Suprim SOC through its paces in our testing lab.
Gaming
It wasn’t surprising to see that this graphics card was able to smash through native 4K gaming with ease and at the highest settings possible. We paired it with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and ran a couple of popular titles at various resolutions. We got 149 FPS in AC: Mirage, 110 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077, 190 FPS in Indian Jones, and 311 FPS in CS2 at 4K.

However, even with ray tracing overdrive in Cyberpunk 2077, the FPS only dropped to 33, which is impressive. When we turned on DLSS 4 and MFG (4x), the FPS reached very close to 300, with 293 FPS. So, not only is it capable of churning out high FPS in native 4K, but you can also increase its gaming performance by a lot, and even 8K gaming should be seamless with this GPU.
Synthetic
When it came to synthetic testing, we leveraged a couple of benchmarking applications like Blender, 3DMark, and others. In Blender Monster, we got 7,404.84 points, while the RTX 5080 managed to churn out only 4,462.60 points. Only this GPU could come somewhat close to the RTX 5090.
In other tests like Geekbench 6 OpenCL, this GPU managed 388,892 points while the RTX 5080 trailed behind with 266,995 points, and it was the same in other tests as well. You can read more about that in detail in our in-depth review.
Is this deal worth it?
The RTX 5090 has a $1,999 MSRP; however, it is easily going for $3,000 and even above that in some cases. So, in that case, you’d be paying a whole lot more for this GPU. With this offer, you’re saving a good amount of cash and will get the RTX 5090 close to its MSRP with a $2,499.99 price tag.
