Sycom: a watercooled RTX 5090 with Noctua ventilation!

Published:

Sycom has announced the arrival of a watercooled RTX 5090. The card features an all-in-one watercooling system, with ventilation provided by Noctua. Beyond that, the card will only be available in pre-assembled PCs in Japan. The brand does not sell its products outside Japan!

Sycom: a watercooled RTX 5090 with Noctua fans!

The design of this card is quite basic. In fact, the waterblock comes with an aluminum casing incorporating an RGB border on its edges. The latter features several reminders of the brand and that’s all. Naturally, the block covers the entire PCB, cooling the CPU, memory and power supply stages. Incidentally, we note that Sycom has adopted the Lynk system for connecting its waterblock and radiator. Finally, the radiator is ventilated by a trio of Noctua fans, the NF-A12x25 G2s.

Unfortunately, Sycom is not coming out of Japan, and doesn’t seem to have any plans to do so. What’s more, despite specific announcements concerning their products, these aren’t destined for retail sale either. Indeed, the card will only be present in Lepton Hydro Extreme WSX870A G-Master systems with an Intel platform and Hydro Extreme X870A in AMD. Both machines are particularly costly, with sales prices in excess of $6400!

As for Sycom, it’s a brand that’s regularly mentioned for its Silent Master series boards. As a reminder, these are air-cooled boards whose ventilation is also provided by Noctua. The RTX 5080 LC Hydro is also cooled by a hybrid solution combining watercooling and aircooling!
